In a profile article the Business Journal describes AgiVox as providing cloud-based software to enable a talking newspaper, saying “Consumers with smart phones get hands-free and eyes-free access to their favorite new media content when they are on the go.”

AgiVox proposed the Speak and Listen Mobile News Reader, a spoken dialogue interface on mobile devices for listening to online news, in the nation-wide competition co-sponsored by the McCormick Foundation and J-Lab Institute. AgiVox is recognized as a runner-up in the New Media Women Entrepreneurs Competition out of 378 proposals.
AgiVox is a finalist in the Desktop.next category, for its speak-and-listen interface for access to online news and information on smart phones.
